OFFICIAL KARAOKE CONTEST RULES

1: All entries MUST be recieved by May 1st 2007 to qualify for discounted $5 entry. In the event that you do not submit your form by 5/1, please bring your form to the contest and it will be accepted with a $7 entry fee in the order in which recieved. MAXIMUM CONTESTANTS WILL BE 30 unless time constraints allow more additions the day of contest. Contest coordinator reserves the right to allow or disallow additions at his discretion. 2: Judges decisions are final, and contest placement will be determined based on total scores from judges score sheets. Contestants will be judged on singing ability (30 points), stage presence (30 points), and overall presentation ( 20 points) as well as audience reaction (20 points)  for a potential total of 100 points per singer. The first 3 place awards will be confirmed by the contest coordinator and prizes will be awarded on the spot. 3. In the event of a tie score between top finalists, a "sing-off" will be held and judged according to contest rules to determine final winning placement. 4: Sportsmanship rules of conduct will be closely monitored - please show support for your fellow contestants (this is Karaoke, and it WILL be fun!). In the event of a contestant interrupting, booing, razzing, harassing, or otherwise interfering with another singer, they will be disqualified. 5: Songs available for contestants to choose from may be found by following the "Song Lists" link above - contestants will NOT be allowed to bring their own music / CDG's, etc for the competition, so please be sure your song(s) are listed on the above linked page! 6: Singers will perform in random order selected by the Event Coordinator on the day of the competition, so PLEASE be sure and be in place at the park by 11:45AM. Limited "warm-up" or "practice" singing will be allowed at the Event Coordinators discretion as time allows. The FIRST CHOICE song on your entry is what you will sing (no last-minute changes) unless another singer has chosen that song prior to you, in that case you will be allowed to sing either your first or second choice song. ALL JUDGES AND EVENT COORDINATORS DECISIONS ARE FINAL - NO EXCEPTIONS OR WHINERS!!!

The LYONS LIONS CLUB B-DAY 2007 CELEBRATION SATURDAY JUNE 2nd, 2007 10AM until MIDNIGHT !!!

For those of you who have been unlucky enough to never experience the fun of a LYONS B-DAY CELEBRATION, you are in for a real treat! The festivities are held at the pavillion in RIVERSIDE PARK in downtown LYONS WI, and the day holds food, fun, and festivities for B-DAY celebrants of all ages! Blind Volleyball should give you an idea of the fun - the craziness NEVER STOPS at a B-DAY BASH! This year sees the return of BOVINE BINGO, where you can bet and win up to $5000 per, well...."Pooping" ... As well as one of several $625 prizes per round! (For tickets or Info please call (262) 534-2675 and ask for CHRIS the LION) As if THAT wasn't enough, BREW CITY MUSIC will host a KARAOKE CONTEST at noon, with performances by THE 3-D BAND and THE TOYS to follow, as well as horseshoe tournaments, an all-day childrens area with fun for the kids, and the ever-popular "Blind-Net Volleyball" starting at 10AM.
